I thought long and hard over these last few months about what I want this new venture to be and what I’m supposed to be doing with this life that I’ve been given. I’ve wanted to be very deliberate about this first post. I’ve spent much of my career leading and supporting amazing nonprofits, but my heart longs to help more faith-based organizations thrive.

So, when thinking about what I want the reasoning behind this organization to be, my heart always goes back to these words from Rend Collective “I’ll find a way to praise you from the bottom of my broken heart, because I think I’d rather strike a match, then curse the dark… because I’d rather take a chance on Hope then fall apart”. So, this is me striking a match and taking an attempt at bringing some light back into this world, because I’ve spent too long just cursing the dark.
